Of course, those looking to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean can choose from many water sports include surfing either of the two breaks in front of Sayulita, fishing for mahi-mahi from an open-bow panga, snorkeling at Sayulita’s Playa Los Muertos, and of course swimming at many of the secret and not-so-secret beaches in and around Sayulita.

Local Sayulita activities around the village can include mountain biking with Lorenzo through the winding jungle trails, saddling up on a horse with Rancho mi Chaparrita, or checking out the new Zip Line tours located just south of town. You can also just take off on a hiking trip of your own to explore the local surroundings, nature and views.

A more relaxed day can be spent meandering amongst the village shops where one can find handicrafts from all over Mexico and even from other countries around the world. A few art galleries have even opend their doors in Sayulita last year. On Sundays, Sayulita hosts a small street fair with tents and stalls lining one of the town’s cobblestone streets allowing vendors to temporarily display their wares.
