Of course, those looking to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean can choose from many water sports include surfing either of the two breaks in front of Sayulita, fishing for mahi-mahi from an open-bow panga, snorkeling at Sayulita’s Playa Los Muertos, and of course swimming at many of the secret and not-so-secret beaches in and around Sayulita. Local Sayulita activities around the village can include mountain biking with Lorenzo through the winding jungle trails, saddling up on a horse with Rancho mi Chaparrita, or checking out the new Zip Line tours located just south of town. You can also just take off on a hiking trip of your own to explore the local surroundings, nature and views. A more relaxed day can be spent meandering amongst the village shops where one can find handicrafts from all over Mexico and even from other countries around the world. A few art galleries have even opend their doors in Sayulita last year. On Sundays, Sayulita hosts a small street fair with tents and stalls lining one of the town’s cobblestone streets allowing vendors to temporarily display their wares. Punta Mita, Bucerias, Nuevo Vallarta and Puerto Vallarta are all great daytrips from Sayulita and each town offers its own version(s) of fun and interesting adventures tot add to your great Sayulita vacation. |
