Sandrita’s Bakery is one of the newest culinary additions to the community of Sayulita.  Sandrita herself creates each and every product from scratch and makes sure of all her baked goods are a perfect combination of the best and freshest ingredients available.  You can truly taste the love in each and every bite.

Located adjacent to the bookstore, just two blocks up from the Trailer Park on Calle Miramar, Sandrita’s Bakery is THE place to go for mouthwatering morsels of all different kinds of breads, sweets, treats, and plenty more.  In addition, select products are also available in the village center at El Espresso and Breakf@stNet.

***Order your pie, cake, or flan in the morning and pick it up at sunset!

Though locally famous for her pies, Sandrita’s is also a local’s favorite for picking up the following:

Real butter pastries
Cinnamon rolls (honey, chocolate, caramel)
Scones
Muffins
Brownies
Cookies
Pizzas
Quiches
Frittatas
Party desserts (like the birthday “Wave Cake”)

Sayulita coffee lovers:  Sandrita’s offers fresh roasted organic espresso and related coffee drinks including lattes, mochas.  Chai teas and maccha green teas are also available.

Giving back to Sayulita:  Sandrita understands the importance of supporting the local Sayulita community.  That’s why she tries to buy as much of her products/ingredients locally here in the village.  Though slightly more expensive, buying locally supports of population and saves gas/energy by reducing trip to Puerto Vallarta.  Every little bit of effort counts.

About Sandrita:
-Born August 5, 1978 Portuguese-Canadian and grew up in London, Ontario.
-In 2004 she moved to Toronto, Ontario to attend U of T and graduated with a Philosophy major and Art History minor.  A lack of funds prohibited her dream of securing a PHD.
-2005-2007 was a time when she was employed in restaurants and tending bars throughout Toronto.
-2007 Decided to move to Mexico and ponder the different avenues available in this world
- Started baking pies for pesos in La Cruz and Bucerias and soon gain a local client base
-Not long after, Sandrita found Liliana and Virgina in the Sayulita bookstore with an empty café.  This was sure a great opportunity that was almost too good to be true.
-Summer 2008:  Worked in Toronto for 5 months in order to save fund to return to Sayulita and re-open Sandrita's bakery
-2008-2009:  This is going to be the best year ever.

I look forward to meeting all of you and sharing the baked goods I love to create every day.
