Welcome to Baliville in Sayulita Mexico

Let the magic of these ancient teak carved homes enter your senses.

Awaken, and see the sights and sounds of this environmentally protected jungle and ocean area.

Our Yoga retreats offer experienced instructors, 2 classes daily plus sunset meditations and enough
other activities available so that you may leave with a larger sense of what the Mexican culture is.

Our birding retreats have professional local guides, small groups, and a variety of daily or overnight excursions designed to fill your book with new species and adventure.

We can also custom design a group retreat experience. Corporate. Family. Classmates.

After your yoga class or birding excursion, you can choose to spend the day at the beach. A short walk from Baliville takes you to a sandy beach where you may come across whales jumping, or for certain, pelicans flying above the surf. Or, you may walk an easy one mile to the town of Sayulita. A vibrant plaza still exists here. Where young ones meet for the first time, the surf crowd talks of “double overheads” and the old timers gather to tell tales at the end of the day. Gringo’s and locals alike delight in its charms.

Come and Experience what awaits you.

Accomodations:
Each house is made of hand hewn teak wood imported from the island of Java, Indonesia. These homes are older with huge wooden beams and ages of up to 120 years. The wooden homes are then combined with architectural items from Morocco, North Africa and Indonesia, plus additions of Mexican double red brick walls and red tile roofs, all that creates a development that has a unique blend with its natural surroundings. The approval of the project itself by Mexico’s environmental legislation provides a low ecological impact development.

All of our homes, are unique and tastefully furnished. The houses have been given Indonesian names that best reflect their special character. The main casas are equipped with full kitchens, and the guest casitas offer refrigerators, microwaves and coffee makers. We invite you to view the individual pictures of each home, and upon registration you will be asked your preference of which casa or casita you would like to stay at. We will make every attempt to accommodate you, unless of course someone has already reserved that particular place

The beach scene at Sayulita can be an intoxicating mix of people watching. Some of the best surfers of Mexico live here, and can be seen short board riding, while others are doing a headstand or surfing with their dogs. Surfboards and boogie boards are easily rented for the day and it allows newcomers to try their hand at the sport. Beach umbrellas with lounge chairs are rented at 10.00 a day, and the waiters will serve you delicious food and icy cold drinks.

A short 8 miles down the road from Sayulita is Punta Mita. Most famous now for its 4 Seasons Hotel, with their beach cabana charge at $300.00 a day, room rates are anywhere from $600.00 per night to $9,000.00, and their new villas start at $4 million. A new Malecon, much like what Puerto Vallarta has with high end shopping and new art galleries are moving in where the old fish taco places used to be.

A retreat at Baliville offers the best of all worlds. You can be secluded in our quiet jungle environment, spend some time in Sayulita, with its wonderful charm, and then experience Punta Mita with the chance of seeing a movie star or certainly the rich, if not famous people who flock there.
