Many of my friends and students have said that they would like to have the opportunity to experience the joy and freedom of painting in Mexico, so I have created " Workshops On the Fly" at my art Gallery Arte De Sayulita in the quaint village of Sayulita, Mexico. These are "date customized" two - day workshops. By "date customized " I mean scheduling will be set at the convenience of the prospective attendees since many painters will be in town according to their planned vacation schedules.

No painting experience is necessary. Artists range from no experience to very experienced. Although I am an abstract painter, what I teach may be applied to representational work as well as abstract. I work in many layers of transparent colors to create my paintings. This technique may be applied to many styles of painting as well.

Within each of us is our own individual creative center. You contact that center during to the two days of our painting together. I encourage you to paint, paint and paint some more....But most importantly - we have FUN!

The workshop daily schedule will be 10 am - 5 pm each day. Lunch not included. You will want to eat in the village as there are so many lovely places to dine.

I will provide snacks, all art materials ( includes one canvas) and art instruction.

Cost:

One painter $240 usd. plus materials $45

Two or more painters: $180 usd plus materials $45

Over the past five years I have hosted six to seven two day overnight weekend workshops each year at my home/studio in Anchor Bay, California, as well as four 8 - night/ 7 day workshops in the Sayulita, Mexico area.
